I am trying patch the ERP system using SUM tool I extracted sum to SID location when I run startup.bat it works but when I access through it gives me following error kindly find the attached screen shots

Now I cannot download the old versions 
Only availabnle version is SUM1.0 level 16 patch 2.

Ok, I found the correct path.
The migration from Oracle/AIX is done to Windows 2012R2 mssql 2008R2 with modified kernel CD tihe latest 6.40 EXT2 kernel and sqlclient 2005 (for R3Load connection to DB)
After this the database is upgraded to 2012R2 (<60 min.)
from here it is a "Normal" SUM.

Releasing transport request taking long time
Hi All,
After I moved the DEV enviroment to other server in different network topology, the process of releasing transport request is taking long time to Quality enviroment.
In the SE09, after that I release child request, the parent request stay on "In process: Requires update" status for long time. The average time for a transport is 35 minutes to Quality enviroment.
The network traffic between the two servers is good. What could I do in SAP to improve performance?

EHP2 Upgrade
Dear Experts,
We are planning to upgrade from EHP2 to EHP7 with DB conversion
Source System : Windows2k8/Oracle 10g [ERP 6.0 EHP3]
Target system: Windows2012/Sql2014 [ERP6.0 EHP7]
We trying to perform the DB [Oracle => SQL DB] conversion first and plan to upgrade from EHP3 to EHP as below.
Could you please confirm the below two steps are feasible?
Step1 => OS/DB migration [EHP3] to SQL 2014/Win2012 [EHP3]
Step2 =>Upgrade from EHP 3 to EHP8
Kindly let us know if there is any alterrnate best approach?

Also upgrade path from EHP3 for ERP 6.0 to EHP7.0 for ERP 6.0 with MS SQL SERVER 2014/X86_64 is also available.

Hi Marcelo
Are these security TRs? If yes then you can ask your security team to attach the roles in 3-4 transport request instead of one. A normal TR with 500 roles takes about 1-2 hrs to release.
If not from security then check the number of ABAP object in the TRs. Also check if the temp file is full.

Yes, thanks for your response. I had already checked theses notes.
In my scenario, the transports are working, but is taking a long time to finish the import on the QAS enviroment. Before the change, the transportation was very fast.

Even when I created a blank request to test , is taking about 13 minutes. I checked the temp file and is not full.
My SAP version is ECC 6.0 EHP4 with IBM iSeries V7R1 and Database DB400. As I said in previous reply, before the change, the transportation was very fast.
I would like know why the Domain Controller is takes this time to finalize transport.
Any idea?

Hi,
For any support upgrade the below prerequisites need to check.
1) Take full backup before you upgrade,
2) Check the latest SPAM level and SAP BASIS component are met as per requirement.
3) Suspend the background job using (BTCTRNS1) and lock the user during upgrade.
4) Also check the space in directory "/usr/sap/SID".
3) Release open transport request confirmation.Don't not keep any modifiable/open request in the system.

SPDD activities zero during upgrade.
