Hi Karthik,
You shoud use the KBA 1790486 for resolving this error. All other means (delete entries at DB and all shoud not be used) . Reason -> it is not only this table which is affected by upgrade. It might help you pass this phase but you never know what else is wrong with the system.

Dear Experts,
During the EHP upgrade on ERP_6.0 from EHP5-EHP7, I'm stuck with the following error.
(Windows 64bit, Kernel 722 Unicode)
I have downloaded DBATL740O11_16-10012386.SAR containing BRTools 740 patch 16
placed it in
1. \usr\sap\sid\sys\exe\uc\ntamd64
2. \Download\SUM\abap\exe
3. \Download
4. \usr\sap\sid\DVEBMGS<no>\exe
Re-boot from OS level.
but still im stuck with same error.
Kind Regards,
Dominc
Hi Dominic,
I would recommend to perform the below steps :
1. Place the downloaded SAR file in download directory (same directory where stack.xml is placed).
2. Extract the SAR file in G:\EHP5_EHP7\SUM\abap\exe\ directory.
3. Make sure in the download directory , there are no additional extra dbatools SAR file other than correct SAR file.
Best Regards,
Gaurav
Thanks Dear Panday,
I replaced DBATL720O10_42-7000462.sar with DBATL740O11_16-10012386.SAR in my DOWNLOAD = G:\EHP5_EHP7 and it worked.
Reagrds,

Dear Experts,
We have our TEST-SERVER a copy of our DEVELOPMENT for testing EHP5-EHP7 upgrade on Windows 64 with Oracle 11g.
This TEST machine as it is a copy of DEV is not connected to SAP but now for SUM to continue Upgrade it needs note 001994245 to be implemented.
I'm unable to download this note manually.
1. If i connect to SAP from my TEST SERVER containing same SID same Installation number as of DEV can this be a conflict?
2.If there is any way to download this note in my DEV server kindly advice me.
Kind Regards,
Dominic.
Hi ,
You can download the Note from Service MarketPlace and then upload using the SNOTE --> Goto --> Upload SAP Note.
Regards,
Gaurav
Hi Domnic,
1. If i connect to SAP from my TEST SERVER containing same SID same Installation number as of DEV can this be a conflict?
As you said you're working on a Test Server with same SID,then as per me you've already registered the system on SAP Marketplace as a test system with different host name.If not then you can register the system as a test system or sandbox type to perform your upgrades.
After registration of the system you can configure SAP-OSS connection on it to download the required corrections. So for me there would not be any conflicts.
2.If there is any way to download this note in my DEV server kindly advice me.
Other method is already suggestedabove by Gaurav, you can simply follow the steps to upload the note if system is not registered at SMP and SAP-OSS is not configured .
Hope this will help you.
Regards,
please provide the steps you followed
Hi Reddy,
From Ehp 6 to 7, there may not be many functions in SD side. anyways you can get the list if you search in SAP market place site, or even from help.sap.com
Thanks

Hi All,
We currently have Release 604 for software component SAP_HR and the sub component level is 24. AsACA benefits is in place for US, inorder to implement the notes released by SAP on Aug 28, 2015, the minimum system requirement should be Release 604 with subcomponent level between 74 and 91.
If we upgrade the sub component level for SAP HR of our current system, would this have an effect on the other systems? Or would this affect in any way the current functionalities? Please help me understand this.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi All,

I wanted to know how much space shadow instance is going to need for a 5TB system? We'll be using downtime minimized strategy.
Hi Domnic,
1) You can download the note from SAP Support Portal. Open that Note and click on Download at upper right of windows.
2) At your TEST-SERVER. call transaction SNOTE thens select menu Goto > Upload SAP Note. Select the file that you download from 1)
3) Continue use SNOTE to apply note into your TEST-SERVER.

Hi Rajesh,
Have you try to create transport of copies and copy the first task (Released task). Then release it and transport back to the system. However, do you have sandpit system? You may try to transport to sandpit system first.

hi Karthik,
Dear,
You need to find out the missing CRTs which is really tough task.
So, It is best if you first upgrade the SPS and then upgrade the EHP.
For more, Please check my thread.

Hi SJ
I am not sure, you have to refer the SAP Upgrade guide based on your OS / DB. as already refer the sap link in by earlier message. If possible first perform in the Test / Sandbox system.
Regards
SS
Yes, Abul.
You are right, I found missing CRT's using SPAM-->Support Packages Display and found Last SPAM was not successfully imported.
I have imported the SPAM then remaining packages imported successfully completed.

Venkata
Dear,
I am sharing my experience. every-time i faced CRT is missing whenever i tried to apply the Stack of EHP3 to 6(stack successfully calculated). But at the end i apply required CRTs via spam and when all successfully applied then i calculate the stack and apply the EHP.

Hi SJ,
The shadow instance should take almost the same size of your primary instance . It doesnt matter how much Big your Database is . ie if your primary /usr/sap/<SID/<DVebmgs<Instance Number> is 10 GB , allocate the same space for the shadow instance .
If You are concerned about the shadow schema , this would be automatically calculated by SUM during prerequisite check . and should be the same across your landscape ( ie DEV, PRD,QAS )
Thanks ,
Manu
