We are upgrading ECC 6.0 EHP4 system to EHP7 on windows 2012 server using SUM tool SP14.
We are in preprocessing phase : MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHD2_RUN/RUN_RSGEN which is taking long time to finish. This phase was started at >> 2016/01/26 23:33:21 START OF PHASE MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHD2_RUN/RUN_RSGEN as per the SAPupConsole file.
Only RSGEN log file is getting updated in log directory same is attached. In SM50 only 3 dialog process and 2 background jobs are running below is the screenshot for the same.
Please suggest if we can increase the number of processes for SGEN so that it finishes soon. We tried creating parallel generators in RZ12 and assigned it to shadow instance server but no improvement in performance.
Please suggest.
