Dear Karthik, Reset of the upgrade : OS level--- Login as adm user. 1. change to DIR_SUM/abap/bin directory (Windows: \abap\bin) 2. Enter the following command: ./SAPup reset prepare (Windows: .\SAPup.exe reset prepare) 3. Delete the SUM directory. 4. start SUM again from scratch. If above steps does not help then see below note. SAP Note No. 417670 The report for resetting the upgrade or EHP installation is called RSUPGRES. You must start it as the user DDIC in the client 000. 1. Start the report RSUPGRES. 2. Delete the upgrade directory and start the PREPARE run from the beginning. Above methods must be used for emergency cases and make sure that you have valid backup of the system before doing so.
