Hi Chandu,

2EETN010 Internal error: "OCS_COLLECT_ADDON_TASKS:" "Object list" "SAPK-740BDINSAPGWFND" "is missing (in E07*)"

For the issue i would suggest you to raise SAP OSS in parallel as the logs are suggesting an issue could be related with database table entries for packageSAPK-740BDINSAPGWFND into E070 and with E071.

Here you may have to generate a new stack.xml again or unfortunately need to reset the upgrade

Good luck !!

Hello,

this package is the installation package of  SAP NW GATEWAY FOUNDATION 7.40. It looks like this package is needed because of a dependency which is written in the package attributes.

I'd need to have a picture of the source product version , and the target product version , in order to understand why and how this install package is needed but not present.

Best regards,

Miguel Ariño

I am pretty sure the shadow system has been created as this phase comes after the SPDD phase and before the downtime phase (approx).

hmmm strange, i can't even start the shadow-instance with these commands:

STARTSAP SID(T10) INSTANCE(13) - nothing happens

and

qsh

/usr/sap/P10/SUM/abap/exe/sapcontrol -prot NI_HTTP -host NLGEMGOI -nr 13 -fun

ction StartWait 1000 10'

The procedure to stop and start the shadow instance is mentioned in the SUM guide.

Instead of trying to start the shadow instance try to connect to the instance with the shadow system number and see if you are able to connect.

Here is the procedure.

Stopping the Shadow Instance

<SUM>/abap/bin/SAPup stopshd

Starting the Shadow Instance

<SUM>/abap/bin/SAPup startshd

Hi Reagan, i got the following:

   $

> cd /usr/sap/p10/sum/abap/bin

   $

> SAPup stopshd

At this time of the procedure, the shadow instance does not exist anymore sin

ce you are passed phase STOP_SHDI_*!

   $

When i check the tables in production in SE14:

ABAPDOCU_BUFF

ADT_EXCEPTIONLOG

CLBC_GW_NOTIFY

CLBS_GW_NOTIFY

FDT_TC_DEF

LXE_CSN_HD

RFC_TT_ACL

SMDDOCTYPE

SPROXDAT

Those tables does not contain data.

It seems SUM is really picky. We don't have a PATH in the User Environment Variables section.  We have a PATH in the System Variables section only.  It seems SUM is only checking the PATH value in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment, not in HKey_Local_Machine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment.

After I created the PATH value in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment, SUM is able to carry on now.

PS. We are using SUM10SP12_10-20006676.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Could you upload the log file MVNTSHD.LOG and the failed ones mentioned in the log?

If possible attach the complete log file PD000325.P10

>>2EETP345 11:51:31: Retcode 1: SQL-error "-952-Processing of the SQL statement ended. Reason code 1<<

The issue looks most likely at the DB side. I would update the TP and the DBSL files and see if that helps.

Shadow instance is stopped at this phase. you cannot use transaction SE11 to view the table in the SAP system because logon to shadow instance is not possible as suggested in the SAP KBA 1960112 - Performance analysis for PARMVNT_SHD phase

>>You wouldn't be able to access the shadow now as it is stopped now an dnot possible to access.<<

There are few SAP notes addressing the SQL-952 and SQL0952 errors but I would consider raising an OSS message and ask support for their recommendation before taking any action like dropping those empty tables or modifying any tables related to upgrade.

2 ETP301 ----------------------------------------------------------------------

2 ETP360 Begin: Act. of Shadow-Nametabs with DDL ("2015/03/25 11:12:33")

2 ETP301 ----------------------------------------------------------------------

2 ETP000   processing modeflag 'B'

3 ETP000 ALTER "SRTFD" set data type GRAPHIC (000059) CCSID 13488

3 ETP000 DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL

3 ETP000

What I see is that entries in the table DDXTT~ with modeflag B (shadow tables to be converted) are failing and possibly due to this "3 ETP000 DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL".

If possible try with a different of kernel (or at least update the tp tool) at /usr/sap/P10/SUM/abap/exe location and repeat the phase.

If it doesn't help you should head to SAP support for a solution.

Good Luck

RB

Thanks for your request. I have many times reset the passwort via sqlplus, rsecssfx and brconnect.

Have already opened a OSS ticket.
